Chema Madoz is one of the most important contemporary Spanish photographers, who is greatly known for his monochromatic, surreal still-lifes.
He studied art history at Universidad complutense de Madrid from 1980 to 1983. While attending university for art history, he enrolled in photography classes at the Image Teaching Center and discovered his passion for the art form.
He continued to hone his skills through photography workshops at the Fine Arts Academy in Madrid.
