Abdessamad currently serves as the CEO of Hitachi Digital Global Holdings, the overarching company for Hitachi Vantara Corporation (Hitachi Vantara) and Hitachi Consulting Corporation (Hitachi Consulting). The Chairman position has been unfilled since April 2019, and Abdessamad’s appointment will become effective on January 1, 2020.

As Chairman of Hitachi America, Abdessamad will continue to support Hitachi’s Social Innovation Business as the company looks to increase its leverage of digital technologies and expand its product offerings globally.
