    Ogtay Asadov Sabir oglu (Azerbaijani: Oqtay Əsədov Sabir oğlu; born January 3, 1955) is an Azerbaijani politician serving as the Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan.

    Ealy life

    Asadov was born in the Shaharjik village of Qafan Rayon of Armenia.

    He graduated from the Machinery Manufacturing Technologies Department of Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. From 1976 on, Asadov worked as the assistant manager and then manager at Baku Air Conditioners Plant. In 1979, he was hired as the Senior Engineer at Azerbaijan Main Renovation and Special Co
